Eligible City of Ashtabula Residents Can Sign Up for COVID Vaccine

City of Ashtabula Now Scheduling Phase 1B Vaccines

The City of Ashtabula Health Department has set up a hotline for residents who want to receive the Coronavirus vaccine:

(440) 992-7188

COVID-19 Vaccine Scheduling Hotline

Eligible at-risk City residents can sign up for the Coronavirus vaccine if they are:

  • Ages 65+
  • Diagnosed with listed medical disorders
  • Work in schools

When leaving your name and contact information, you may be asked questions to determine your eligibility.

What happens next?

The City of Ashtabula Health Department will receive vaccine doses from the Ohio Department of Health. Vaccines makers are trying to make and deliver over 1 million vaccines across the USA per day. A smaller number are assigned to Ohio to divide among all 88 Counties, and then deliver to local health departments who administer the shots.

Based on the number of vaccines delivered to the City of Ashtabula Health Department, they will call back City residents to schedule your shot.

There are two shots, but you must wait 3-4 weeks until the second shot is scheduled.

It is important to keep your scheduled appointments, or you may have to wait to be vaccinated until more shots are delivered.
